One stack.Any scale.

Core Forged designs, builds and looks after the technology inside a building — whether that building is a data centre, a head office, or a house. Same engineers, same standards, same documentation.

    Five disciplines, one contract

    What we actually do

Most sites need three or four of these at once, and the joins are where projects usually fail. We hold all five in-house so nobody is waiting on another trade to finish.

    A/V systems

Rooms that work when someone presses one button, in front of a client, without a technician standing by.

    • Meeting rooms certified for Teams and Zoom
    • Video distribution over IP, matrix and direct
    • Multi-room and outdoor audio
    • Control systems and one-page touch panels
    • Cinema rooms, calibration and acoustic treatment

    Networking & connectivity

The layer everything else depends on. Designed once, labelled properly, and handed over with a diagram.

    • Structured cabling, fibre backbone, patching
    • Wi-Fi surveys, design and post-install validation
    • VLAN segmentation — IoT kept away from everything else
    • Routing, firewalls, SD-WAN and failover circuits
    • PoE budgets, switching, UPS and monitoring

    Cloud

Right-sized and reversible. We put things in the cloud when it helps and keep them local when it doesn't.

    • Azure and AWS landing zones
    • Identity, single sign-on and conditional access
    • Microsoft 365 migration and hardening
    • Backup and disaster recovery with tested restores
    • Cost reviews and hybrid rebalancing

    Security systems

Cameras, doors and alarms that behave like part of the network, not five separate products with five apps.

    • IP CCTV and video management, retention planning
    • Access control, credentials and visitor flow
    • Intrusion detection, intercom, gates and barriers
    • ONVIF integration into building or home platforms
    • Privacy, signage and data-retention compliance

    Compute & storage

Capacity you can plan against, with headroom stated in writing before anything is ordered.

    • Server and hypervisor builds, clustering
    • NAS, SAN, ZFS pools and tiered storage
    • Virtualisation and containers
    • On-premises GPU nodes for local inference
    • Rack power, cooling, spares and monitoring

    Specialist practice

    Z-Wave, done to spec

A smart home fails for boring reasons: a mesh with no routing, batteries doing work mains power should be doing, and a hub that stops working when a vendor loses interest. We build Z-Wave networks that run locally and stay fixable.

    • Survey firstWe plan the mesh before ordering devices. Mains-powered routing nodes go in first, then battery devices inherit a network that already has paths.
    • S2 & keysSecure inclusion throughout, with network keys documented and handed to you — not held hostage in an installer's account.
    • Local controlZ-Wave JS UI on dedicated hardware with an 800-series controller. Nothing in the house waits on someone else's cloud to turn a light on.
    • Home AssistantAreas, naming conventions and device classes set up so your automations are still readable in three years, by someone who isn't us.
    • MigrationsMoving off SmartThings, Hubitat, Vera or a builder-installed hub, without re-pairing the whole house twice.
    • Handover packNode list, routes, firmware versions, backup file and a restore procedure you can follow yourself.

    R1–R4 — mains-powered nodes carrying the mesh.

    How we work

You get a fixed scope and a line-item budget before anyone drills a hole. If the survey turns up something that changes the number, you hear it then, not at invoice.

    01

    Survey

We walk the site, test what's there, and write down what we found — including the parts nobody documented.

    02

    Design

Drawings, device schedules and a budget you can read line by line. Alternatives priced where they exist.

    03

    Build

Cabling, racks, configuration and labelling, sequenced around your trades so nothing gets ripped out twice.

    04

    Commission

Tested and tuned room by room, with you present, against the design. Snags closed before sign-off.

    05

    Support

Documentation you own outright, plus a support agreement if you want one. No lock-in either way.

Tell us what the building needs to do

Rough is fine. A floor plan, a rack photo or two paragraphs is enough for us to tell you whether we're the right fit and roughly what it costs.
